Collection: Danish hygge

As a Dane I fully understand how to create and experience hygge. Using small beautiful things is part of making your space filled with a hyggelig atmosphere.

We pronounce it "hoo-ga," and it cannot be translated to one single word but encompasses a feeling of cozy contentment and well-being through enjoying the simple things in life. In good company or all by yourself. Nothing from the outside can come at bother or threaten you, when all is hyggeligt. 

It doesn't require any objects in particular, but for me it is important to surround myself with beautiful things such as a vase with flowers or being seated around a intimate and cozy set table.
